Tonight, Eric and I went to 924 Gilman to see the wonderful Kimya Dawson. It was rad. We sat on stage with her and on the floor....it all had a very town meeting vibe to it, with folky punk undertones. Full of life, full of love, Kimya is the new Confucius. Spiral group hugs? Slightly scary, but definitely vibrant. Eric disappeared somewhere around the second curve, but I had his hand, so I knew he was there.
And on the way home, "She's Like the Wind" came on the radio. What a great night.
